My HighBeam Pro Lights won't work or turn on

If your HighBeam Pro Lights won't work, even after making sure the contorller puck has new batteries and they're plugged in correctly, re-pairing the lights should solve the problem.

If both the light and puck go into pairing mode and don't pair after multiple attempts, then reset the light and the puck to default (see instructions below). Then try the re-pairing process also mentioned below.

RESET TO DEFAULT

Note: the steps below apply to both the Controller and Light A devices. In default state, the Controller and Light A devices are cleared of any previously paired devices. Also in the default state, the Light A device is in Power OFF mode.

  1. Ensure device is connected to power
  2. Press and hold the pairing button on the device for greater than 10 seconds

    a. Pairing button on Controller is the middle button

    b. Pairing button on Light A device is the only button on the device

    c. Device will flash 4 times (4 flashes with 1 second between flashes) after 10 seconds has elapsed while holding the pairing button in the depressed state

    i. To reset the device to default, the user should immediately stop holding the pairing button once the LEDs begin flashing the 4 flash sequence, which occurs after 10 seconds of holding the pairing button has elapsed

ii. Device is reset to default state after 4 flashes has completed

PAIRING ADDITIONAL LIGHT(S)

NOTE:

  • Only Light A units can be paired to the controller. Light B is controlled by being connected to Light A.
  • Pair one light at a time to the controller.
  • Keep the controller and light within a few feet while pairing.
  • Avoid pairing lights when others are pairing their own in the vicinity. It is possible for the lights to become mixed pairs. If so, re-pairing will be necessary.
  • Up to 20 Light A units can be paired to a single controller.

  1. Confirm all lights are connected correctly before attempting to pair with the controller. Reference the “Connecting the Light” section in the product manual which can be scanned in the package's QR code.

  1. Hold the pairing button on the back of Light A for about 5 seconds until it flashes and then release immediately. The lights will enter into pairing mode and will cycle between warm and cool colors.

  1. Press the power button once to wake up the controller and turn on any existing lights already paired to the controller. Then hold the power button for about 5 seconds until both indicator lights flash and then release immediately. The controller will enter into pairing mode and the indicator lights will alternate lighting up.

  1. The Light A and controller will pair automatically while both are in pairing mode. Wait for the lights and controller to flash twice indicating a successful pair. If pairing is not successful, the lights and controller will each flash three times. One possible cause of pairing failure is that the light and controller were not both in pairing mode at the same time. Try again making sure to do steps 2 and 3 right after each other. If the lights still do not pair successfully, contact customer support.

Please note: If multiple lights are out of sync after pairing (some are on while others are off), unplug one of them from power and adjust the other to match before plugging back in.
